Writing

Five vulnerable boys are led out into the woods of their Boy Scout camp by Brent, 16. Brent is on a mission to make a man out of these boys through a ritual that he has been creating. The play explores the cycles of harm perpetuated by toxic masculinity and the ways queerness is often siloed in all-male spaces. Through this intimate lens, SCOUTS seeks to ignite a meaningful conversation about identity, gender roles, and the hidden dynamics that shape these communities.
